"The price of Freedom can never be paid in full"
Bob Hunt, Milford, MA, USN, E5, 1964-1970
America was Built on LEGAL Immigrants.. Let it be so for the Future! What can we expect of people who break laws to come into this country. Some may be good people... But they need to be LEGAL about it.
Charles Babcock, Bremerton, Washington, USN, ET1(ss), 1979-1992
My youngest daughter could not get a few minimum wage jobs because she could not speak spanish. What is our country comming too? Why are the politicians selling us out. I love my country and this has to stop now. I am waiting for November.
ronald hogg, san jose, ca., army, e-4, 1972-1974
I'm tired of hearing 'fight them over there so we don't have to here'. Our border security is in threat because we're 'over there'.
Jerry Jost, Las Vegas, NV, USAF, SSgt, 1972-1976
We Must Secure our Borders and Deport those who are here illegally no matter what it costs or how long it takes.
Cecil Porter, Lancing, Tennessee, USAF USN, Msgt, 20 years
Retired military, active CBP (legacy INS). I spent years on the border between East and west Berlin and East and West Germany (Fulda gap, 11th ACR). If I can defend the German border and my son can defend the Iraq border than the rest of the military can defend our border. There is no reason the US Army/USMC/USAF can not use our southern border as a training area.
Francis Hinnegan, longmont, CO, US Army, First Sergeant, 1964-1985
I remember taking the oath to serve and protect my country from all foreign and domestic enemies, and I still have not been released from this oath. These illegals ARE a foreign enemy.
Gregory Williams, Broomfield, Colorado, Air Force, E-6, 1976-1985
It is unbelieveable that we are being sold out by our leaders. Perhaps an alliance of businesses that pledge to not hire or use illegals. I would be willing to boycott all businesses not belonging to the alliance
Gary Christian, Westminster, Co, USAF, SSgt, 1969-1972
I'd like to find more Vets in my area to join up with...
Frank Graham, Pasadena, Texas, Army, Sp-4th Class, 1961-1964
I am tired of the United States being trashed by people who are only looking out for thier own intrests. This is "OUR" Nation .....we need to take it back. All of us "Veterans" are trained to do this. Let's make ourselves heard!
Mikel Krause, Tolleson, AZ, Navy, E-8, 20 years
The American life raft is sinking and illegal immigration is taking us all down. Illegals are exactly that -illegal law breakers.
BUILD THE WALL - DEPORT THEM ALL!
Richard Carmer, Golden, CO, Navy, E4, 1966-1968
I did not serve my country for open borders, Mr. President.
lawrence j DuMont, Raymond, NH, army, sp4, 1961-1964
If they came here illegally then they should be deported! Do not reward law breakers with citizenship or "guest worker" permits.
Robert Klinker, Vancouver, WA, USAF, TSgt, 1968-1991
I can't think of a better group of men and women; to stand shoulder to shoulder with in defending this great nation of ours, than fellow vets. I didn't discard my oath when I left military service. It means as much to me today as it did in June of 1987.
We must hold the feet of our leaders to the fire. Enforce the laws on the books, end birthright citizen, stop amnesty, and deport all criminal aliens. Enough is enough!
Jason Baker, Valley, Alabama, U.S Army, SPC/ E-4, 1987-1994
When I first joined the Military, I took an oath to guard the United States against ALL enemies, both domestic and foriegn. I will stand by that oath till the day I am dead and my ashes are spread back to the earth.
Gary Mosier, Tonawanda, NY, Army Recon, Sgt E5, 1968 - 1989
I did not suffer a hanis hazing after my company got blown up in Lebanon, and lose credability for the rest of my life so a spineless forign citizen "whom won't stand stand up to their own government" can abuse our good nature.
George Carnes, Joliet, IL, USMC, PFC, 1980-1983
I served 11 years in the service of my country, although i never served in a combat zone many of my former comrades did and I feel it only right that I stand beside them and all of the CITIZENS of this country who believe in preserving our FREEDOMS and AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE.
Fred Dunham, Ponca City, OK, US ARMY, USAF, Sp/4, Sgt E4, 1958-1964,1967-1971
Borders should be closed and guarded...............
Robert Andress, Utica, MS, Navy, E-3/MM, 1967-1973
During my Army service I saw both the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain which used to divide East and West Germany. Those who say building a fence won't work to keep people from illegaly crossing the border are simply wrong. If you build it they can't come.
James Turner, Naches, WA, U.S. Army, SFC, 1971-1991
My father was a WWII vet and I was raised as a true American patriot. I may not always like what happens in this country BUT it is still my country and I stand by it. I like your political approach to securing the borders and am prepared to stand by you organization. My older brother is a USMC Viet Nam vet (66-67) and feels the same way as I do.
Don Avey, Paulden, AZ, USAF RVN Vet (68-69), Staff Sgt (E5), 4 1967 - 1971
Seal our borders with a fence/troops.
We did not serve for our leaders to give our country away to lawbreakers.
Robert Venable, Georgetown, TX, Marines, Corporal, 1946-1947
We know that our elected leaders are going to do nothing about illegal immigration, so it is up to the citizens to force the issue.
Cecil Porter, Lancing, TN, USAF USN, Msgt, 1954-1981
Lessons in my life have taught me that the people with the Biggest Hearts and Most Tolerance are the one's that get abused First, because they are they are not expecting it.
We as lawful tax paying citizans of the United States of American must stand together and protect our rights.
I am amazed by the lack of action from our federal level political leaders, all three branches. God help us all !!!
John Millerleile Sr., Bessemer, PA, Air Force, E6, 1976-1989
First step, secure the border. Second step is the most important, enforce employer sanctions. Third step, make it clear that there will be no amnesty for breaking our immigration laws.
Bob Haran,
Phoenix
BOB HARAN, Phoenix, AZ, U.S. Marine Corps, Cpl, 1968-71
We need to stop Illegals from getting benefits from our Government. No amnesty, or health care. HEALTH CARE FOR VETS, NOT ILLEGALS1
dHokmer Kerns, Winchester, VA, USAF, E4, 1966-1970
