What IS the problem here with lack of action by the Fed. Gov't? Do they think terrorists are'nt already using this avenue to gain entry into this country? THINK AGAIN-then DO SOMETHING!!!!
David R. Meyer, Anytown, Colorado, SOG2, USN, 1956-1959
Proudly served on East German Border during 61 Berlin Crisis, and 62 Cuban Missle Crisis. I have never retracted the Oath I took. Born and raised in Texas. Nuff said.
Brent Allan Reeves, E3, USA, 1960-63
Eerily similar to the ignored declarations of Osama bin Laden prior to 9/11, our government has once again placed Americans in jeopardy by willfully ignoring the repeatedly stated manifesto of the Mexican government, to send forward millions of their citizens to illegally invade, plunder and 'reconquista' [take back] our country.
Why have we allowed the government of Mexico to execute a de facto war by encouraging tens of millions of their citizens to illegally enter America? The illegal alien invasion is an 'act of war' that has reduced our country to nothing but a lawless territory, with little or no sovereignty left!
It is absurd for America to continue to live under wave after wave of invading Mexican 'armies' of illegal aliens who will, by their sheer numbers, take over our society, culture and language! Perhaps it is time for "We the People" to rise up and take back our country! Lloyd S. Peterson, Wayland, New York, Sgt., U.S.M.C., 1953-1956
I am a Marine and a Conservative. I am appalled by politicians, both Republicans and Democrats, who ignore their constitutional oaths to protect and defend the borders of our country. It is imperative that we vote all these charlatans out of office, and replace them with patriots who understand their obligations under the Constitution.
Robert J. Puskar, Paradise Valley, AZ, Captain, USMC, 1964-68
I support the position of having secure borders and I am willing to assist in achieving that goal.
Robert L. Green, Las Cruces, NM, E-8 (CMCS), US NAVY (SEABEES), 1962-1987
I'm currently in the State Military Forces of Tx. After 9-11 I had to go back in military service. I just cant believe we are sending soldiers to their death to defend this country when our borders are left wide open. We can be so suportive of the mothers of sons that have died in Iraq and Afganistan and yet our Nations Leaders can stand by and feel our boders can be too political to secure. Even our own Gov. in Texas will not deploy his State Guard in an attempt to secure our borders. They would rather have them park cars and lead in parades then let their seasoned combat veterans help out and secure the borders. I am a total loss to understand political thinking.
William Howard, Southlake, Tx, E-4, USAF, 4 years
I fully support the securing of our borders(especially in this time of threats of clear and present danger by enemies foreign and domestic). Anyone who chooses to illegally cross our borders and enter our country is an illegal alien should be treated as any other criminal, to the fullest extent of the law!
Additionally, the English language is and has been the official language of the United States of America since it's inception and should remain so. Like any other country in the world (except the US), if you want to come here, do so legally and speak our language!
It matters not who you are or where (outside our borders) you're from....if you come legally and are willing to speak the language of the United States of America, then we welcome you! If not, then you are illegal, just as illegal as that murderer or child rapist, and you are unwelcome.

It is past time for all people to know, especially for those in power, and Congress should note, that "illegal" IS breaking the law. No amnesty is a right nor should it be sought in this terrible invasion that is overpopulating the U.S with millions of poor workers who are hired by dishonest citizens and CEO's to gain huge profits at the expense of true U.S. Citizens' expense and loss. The Honorable Mr. Tancredo of Colorado should be the next President of the U.S. He is more knowledgeable and willing to tackle the huge increase in unsustainable immigrant invasions without the proper requirements for true citizenship. We meet no limited quotas for admission each year. They are far surpassed by millions who cross by the millions. This is destroying the U.S. citizenry, and disrupting the country with unnecessary violence, and illegal status makes it all the worse. They must be required, as Mr. Kyl of Arizona put it, returning to Mexico, and meeting strict requirments for citizenship, and no more bringing their pregnant wives to the U. S. for birthing their babies to use the system. This has reached crisis proportions and violence will be the next outcome when rebellion of the whites increase. They are creating another Alamo, which is not being received well in Texas at all by many people who remember history, and the hatred of many Mexican Nationals for the Anglo or Caucasian ugly "Gringos". This is not idle speculation. It is deadly serious, and incumbent upon those in power in the White House, and Congress to wake up and militarize the borders. We have no defense worth noting, and the Dept. of Homeland Security and Border Patrol are ineffective. Thus the Minutemen are born and essential to do what our own leaders won't do. This will be reflected in the elections later. Do not betray your own country. Support the Minutemen, for they are NOT the enemy at the gate.

I am 72 years old and have a strong belief in defending the Constitution of these United States in accordance with the Oath I took when I was sworn in back in May of 1953. That belief was carried over every time I re-enlisted and was sworn for the duration of my enlistments that totaled 20 years, 1 month, & 14 days. Do I believe in what you are doing?? Absolutely and I may be getting on in years, but as long as I can still walk and shoot (and I can) I will be willing to defend this great Nation of ours to the death.
Mr. Marion R. Skaggs, Bloomfield, Missouri, TSgt ( E-6), US Army & Air Force, 1953 to 1956 (Army) & 1956 to 1973 US Air Force
Many American soldiers died for liberty and Justice, now we seem to be throwing it away.
Larry Gillespie, Phoenix, AZ, E-4, U.S. Army, 61-63
This site comforts me in knowing some people still care about this country. Those who believe they are still under oath please join the Minutemen Civil Defense Corps at Minutemenhq.com. We have close to 7000 members who will be patrolling both borders in October. If our gov't won't secure our borders WE WILL

Time is critical.
JACK WALLACE, Spring Branch, Texas, Captain, Army, 1951-1965
Do you have any bumper stickers or t-shirts available for sale with the billboard master design (Mr. President, they didn't die for open borders) on them? I am one of the original Minutemen from the Naco line in Arizona in April of this year and am going back in October, this time to New Mexico. The problem is that, being from Minnesota, the border issues are not even on people's radar but I am seeing a greater number of what are probably illegal aliens in the state than ever before, as well as reports of what appears to be MS-13 gang activity in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area as reported in the local news. Your billboard image makes a powerful statement and should be available in some form to those of us not in the southwest who are only biding our time until the same problems overwhelm us up here.
Gary Vennes, North Branch, MN, Sergeant E-5, U.S. Army (VN vet), 1967 - 1972
The border needs to be closed NOW to stop illegal immigration and all smuggling. The civil rights groups claim our national policies are "killing" people that cross our borders. In that respect they are right. We need to STOP them from coming here illegally to stop the deaths. That seems to be the point the civil rights groups don't seem to GET.
The first thing we Arizonans need to do is vote Senator McCain and Representatives Kolbe and Grijalva OUT OF OFFICE. For 3 people who supposedly "represent" Arizona, They've done a POOR job on the border issue...which should be any Arizona congressman's FIRST item of interest! Eric Jiran, Sahuarita, AZ, MSgt, USAF, 1982-2003
I am a registered minuteman and will do all I can to save our country
Grady George, Devine, Texas, airman 1st class, USAF active reserves, 1957 thru 1965
This problem goes beyond our borders. Im in Connecticut, Illegals made it this far, what can we do now to assist in identifing and assisting in there removal.
Joseph Cullen, North Haven, ct, E-5, Air Force, 8
I live in Arizona. I see the illegals coming in all the time. My son has to learn spanish in the first grade because to many of the kids their don't speak english.
James Decker, Surprise, Arizona, Specialist, Army, 4 years
I have served my country in one form or another for all of my adult life, next year I will be retiring and moving to Arizona and I plan on spending a large amount of my time working with the Minuteman program in order to continue serving my country. John E Ridenour, Burnsville, MN, SFC E-6, USMC/US Army, 1963-1967, 1970-1986
On 9 May 54, I gave my first oath to protect this country against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. I enlisted in the Air Force in 1957 and took the same oath each time I reenlisted. To this day, that oath has not changed. I am fed up with local, state, and federal officials that have failed to honor the oaths they took to enforce the laws that are supposed to protect us. We have certain cities in this country that have been declared sanctuaries to illegal persons, yet the elected officials in those cities all took oaths to uphold the law of the land. Apparently the oath they took meant nothing. They are violating the law and their word means nothing.
